## Kling Video O3 Pro Image-to-Video

Kling Video O3 Pro is Kuaishou's Kling 3.0 Omni model in Professional mode (1080P output), used here for image-to-video. Upload a start frame (and optionally an end frame), describe the motion, and get cinematic video with native audio, multi-shot storyboards and optional subject (element) references.

## Why Choose This?

- **Kling 3.0 Omni** Kling's unified multimodal video model, which understands text, images, subjects and video together.
- **Start & end frame control** Add an optional end image to steer the transition between two frames.
- **Element references** Keep up to 3 characters or objects consistent with Kling element library subjects.
- **Multi-shot storyboards** Up to 6 shots in one video, each with its own prompt and duration.
- **Flexible duration** Any length from 3 to 15 seconds, with native audio on by default.

## Parameters

| Parameter | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| prompt | Conditional | Text description of the motion, action and camera. Max 2,500 characters. Reference subjects as `<<<element_1>>>`, `<<<element_2>>>`, … Required unless `multi_shot` is on and `multi_prompt` is provided, in which case it is ignored. |
| image | Yes | Start frame (URL or upload). JPG / JPEG / PNG, up to 50 MB, at least 300 px on each side, aspect ratio between 1:2.5 and 2.5:1. The output follows the image's aspect ratio. |
| end_image | No | End frame (URL or upload), with the same format limits as `image`. An end frame can only be used together with a start frame. |
| multi_shot | No | Generate a multi-shot video (default: `false`). Provide `multi_prompt` to define every shot yourself, or leave it empty to let the model split `prompt` into shots automatically. |
| multi_prompt | No | Used when `multi_shot` is `true` and takes precedence over `prompt`; leave it empty for automatic shot splitting. 1–6 shots, each `{index, prompt, duration}`. Each shot prompt can be up to 512 characters, each shot lasts at least 1 second, and the shot durations must add up to `duration`. |
| elements | No | Up to 3 subject references (mapped to Kling `element_list`). Each item either points to an existing subject by `element_id`, or creates one inline with `element_name`, `reference_type` (`image_refer` / `video_refer`) and `frontal_image` + `refer_images` (up to 3) or `refer_videos` (1). |
| duration | No | Video length in seconds: any integer from 3 to 15 (default: `5`). |
| sound | No | Generate native audio with the video (default: `true`). |

Output resolution is fixed at 1080P for Pro mode. There is no `aspect_ratio` or `negative_prompt` parameter.

## How to Use

1. **Upload your start image** — the frame the video starts from.
2. **Write your prompt** — describe the motion, camera movement and action.
3. **Upload an end image (optional)** — the frame the video should end on.
4. **Add elements (optional)** — attach up to 3 subjects and mention them in the prompt as `<<<element_N>>>`.
5. **Choose single-shot or multi-shot** — for multi-shot, turn on `multi_shot` and define 1–6 shots in `multi_prompt`, or leave it empty to let the model split the prompt into shots.
6. **Set duration and sound** — 3 to 15 seconds; sound is on by default.
7. **Run** — submit and download your video.

## Best Use Cases

- **Photo Animation** — Bring portraits, landscapes and product shots to life.
- **Scene Transitions** — Use start and end frames for controlled transitions.
- **Character Consistency** — Add subjects that stay consistent with the start frame.
- **Short Films** — Film-quality animated scenes from still images.
- **Premium Production** — Cinematic scenes that need the highest visual quality.

## Pro Tips

- Use high-quality source images. Low-resolution input lowers output quality.
- Describe what should move or change rather than what is already visible in the image.
- Use shorter durations (3–5 s) for testing, then go longer for final output.
- Draft with O3 Std to save cost, then render the final version with O3 Pro.

## Notes

- `image` is required. `prompt` is required unless you define the shots in `multi_prompt`.
- Duration accepts any integer from 3 to 15 seconds.
- An end frame without a start frame is not supported.
- Up to 3 elements per request.
- Make sure image URLs are publicly accessible.
